Imaging plates are the photostimulable phosphor screens that sit inside CR cassettes and hold the latent image until a CR reader scans it. They are consumables for computed radiography readers such as Konica Minolta REGIUS and Fujifilm FCR, not for hardcopy printers, and on the REGIUS 170 and 190 only plates manufactured after April 2004 are usable. The film and printer compatibility chart covers CR consumables alongside imaging film.
