X-ray film is divided into classes different types for radiology and other fields of examination areas:

General-purpose radiographic;

– blue-sensitive film; Due to its high resolution, the film allows you to clearly see the clinical picture and exclude repeated X-rays.

– green-sensitive film; Allows you to catch a slight difference between the absorption of air by tissues and radiation waves. This makes it possible to notice the slightest changes in the human body.

General-purpose radiographic films are used (with rare exceptions) to obtain a full-size image of an object under study. These films have two light-sensitive layers, i.e. are double-sided and are used in combination with two intensifying X-ray screens.

Fluorographic films are designed to obtain a reduced image of the object under study using an optical system. This imaging system uses one X-ray screen, so fluorographic films are one-sided, i.e. having one layer of emulsion. Produced, as a rule, in the form of rolls
